I started reading this book to begin discussing with 

friends/fellow tutors from our Classical Conversations group.  

Only one chapter in and I am excited that our director picked this book.

Excuses, excuses

We are going to move, we are moving, we've moved...my excuses for not blogging for the last 5 months!  I kept thinking I'd play catch up and post pictures of happenings around here since my last post.  However, I realized that's why I kept putting off posting because I didn't want to play catch up. So, if you haven't given up and are still checking this sleepy little blog I am going to attempt to blog regularly.  Thanks to those of you that have asked "Have you posted since the pumpkin picture?".  It's been the kick in the pants I needed.

One thing that I have enjoyed keeping up with pretty regularly is writing down 3 gifts I'm thankful for each day.  Ann Voskamp makes this simple with her Joy Dare.  I have absolutely loved it and God is using it to teach me to look for the beautiful He surrounds me with each day.  Her blog is worth following, too.
