Wouldn't it be funny?

Saturday night we had dinner with some friends and their kids (ages 7 and 4). Sunshine LOVES young children. They played with her and she just giggled and smiled the entire time. On the drive home we began talking about how other children really make Sunshine happy. She is always SO happy when I pick her up from the nursery at church. Tall T then said, "wouldn't it be funny if two introverts had and extroverted child?". If you are reading this you probably know that I enjoy smaller groups of people, so it overwhelms me a little bit to think about having an extroverted child. What if she wanted to have 30 kids come to her birthday party??? Would I go and hide :)? Whatever her personality, I am enjoying watching it develop!

One other thing I've really been enjoying is her new ability to fall asleep in my arms. She rarely falls asleep while being held, but it works out fine because we can put her down wide awake and she soothes herself to sleep. Over the past couple of days she has gone to sleep on my lap. I haven't tried to coax her to sleep, she has done it on her own. I love holding my sleeping girl. I love to look at her...she's so precious.

How cute! I didn't know you and T were introverts. Yes, I love watching Kairis' personality develop too. She smiles at everyone, but prefers to be held by her mama :) It's convenient to have our babies fall asleep on their own, (Kairis is a pro) but I know what you mean about holding your sleeping girl. It's wonderful....I love snuggling with K when she's sleeping too :)
