Chicks!
This week Uncle Gerald brought us some chicks. They were only a day old when we got them and so they are super cute. We currently have 4 laying hens, but we needed to repopulate our flock since we had lost some. It's so nice to walk right outside and gather fresh eggs every morning from our free range chickens. These should be laying later this year.

ohmygoodness! those are the cutest things ever....i can't wait to have some chicks of my own, and some free range eggs too! (we just need much more space than we have now to make that happen :) ) sunshine is adorable too--how is your dog doing with the chickens?
Thanks! Sadie does great. She has grown up with the chickens, so I think it is just normal to her that they are around. She doesn't like it when they eat her food though :).
