Sunshine has been keeping up on her summer reading. This book has been great for identifying animals and learning the sounds that they make. T and I have been enjoying some reading this summer as well. After the transition to digital broadcasting, we find ourselves having a lot more free time. Not that we were huge TV watchers, but we must have spent some time watching it. Anyways, T has made it through several books while I have finished only finished one, The Count of Monte Cristo. It was a great read, even after 1400 pages I didn't want it to end. Now I am trying to catch up on all the magazines that I put to the side while I was reading my book. I think my next book will be Les Miserables.

Did you give up tv all together? I am very impressed if you did. I on the other hand watch alot of my tv on the internet because I am so frustrated that we cant get the CW here! I should take a lesson from you
We did. We still watch movies, but no TV. Honestly I don't miss it.
Congrats on giving up tv! We gave tv up a year and a half ago (minus watching the olympics and inauguration) and don't miss it one bit!!! I couldn't believe how much time I really wasted watching programs...we now spends lots more time outside, reading, playing games, and the like. I honestly don't think I'd have time to watch tv now even if I wanted to! :) We do watch movies occasionally, but that's it. That looks like a fun book Sunshine's reading! Kairis has one very similar and she's enjoying it too.
